Book 03/06 (Current Version: Prototype - Version 1.0) This story/fanfiction is a 'what if scenario' within the Sci-Fi videogame series known as Halo and is based on an original character named 'Lieutenant Serenity McKnight' that partners with the legendary Master Chief himself, after the UNSC Pillar of Autumn had escaped a Halo Ring known as Installation 04 by the help of a mysterious alien of myth and legend called a Forerunner. The UNSC and their newest ally embark on a heavy defensive throughout Earth against the enemy, protecting humanities home planet at all cost. Lieutenant Serenity McKnight and her brothers and sisters in arms do their best to make the best of the war at the African front nearing New Mombasa. Doing so until an unknown mission would begin, deep in the jungle. The story is a 'reimagining' of Halo and is non-canon and is to be not taken seriously as this was an idea created back when I first played the games. Combat Evolved is the first book of my main series known as 'Halo Battle Buddies' and will lead up to the first game and beyond. The Covenant have glassed Reach and the UNSC have scattered in multiple directions. The Ad Meliora, a Halcyon-Class Light Cruiser, rushed its launch and ended up going into slipspace to an unmapped corner of the Milky Way Galaxy. The area of space is so remote, the Ad Meliora loses contact with its sister ship; The Pillar of Autumn. After finally coming out of slipspace, the crew of the Ad Meliora find themselves in a dark, secluded, and unmapped part of space. Not long, a Covenant Assault Carrier also exit's subspace, following the Ad Meliora. Seeing an unmarked planet nearby, the Captain orders the ship to fly towards the planet to try and hide from the Covenant Assault Carrier. The Planet they choose to hide on however, is fully inhabited by various creatures who are unaware of the conflict and will soon be in the middle of a bloody war. While the crew of the Ad Meliora find a way to repair their ship, they dedicate themselves in protecting the inhabitants from the Covenant. __________________________________________________________________________________ The Ad Meliora is carrying approximately 2,000 active military personnel with around 250 crew members. A few dozen ODST's and 3 Spartan-IIIs are onboard. The Spartans are Maverick-A776, Clara-B452, and Kieran-B902. The Ad Meliora has a few pelicans on board with warthogs, and scorpion tanks. Despite being decently armed, it pales in comparison to the Covenant Assault Carrier. The Covenant Carrier is named "The Fire of the Mighty," led by Shipmaster Khota 'Mutamee. Shipmaster Khota is armed with multiple covenant soldiers. There are an unknown number of Spirits and Phantoms, wraiths, and ghosts on board. In a galaxy-wide war. For over 20 years, humanity has been on the defensive, surviving against the odds from a genocidal religious alien cult known as the Covenant. Fighting for humanities very existence, untold numbers of UNSC forces will lay down their lives so that countless others may live. This story is a "what if scenario" and unique take on an idea that the creators of Halo original made for a draft to how Halo 2 was supposed to end during the designing phase of the videogames. (When Halo 2 was the "last game" and Halo 3 wasn't supposed to exist due to the current development schedules at the time). That idea being how Master Chief and Commander Miranda Keyes were supposed to have a "romantic relationship" at the end of the game, but scrapped it due to it making no sense for this to even happen. So, this story about this concept of an unlikely relationship with Master Chief and Commander Miranda Keyes and will recreate it to be more complex and expand this scrapped idea and potential make something of it. Ultimately, during the darkness of war, the time for companionship is an afterthought as time passes and chaos continues. Will this unlikely duo that being the legendary Spartan 2 Master Chief and UNSC Commander Miranda Keyes grow closer together against such darkness against the Covenant, or fall victim as many have before them.

Two teenagers have fallen in love. But there's one problem, a female human named Ann Barr, a 18 year old and a male Sangheili/Elite named Khovu 'Latum who is 19. The problem is that it is forbidden for Ann to fall in love with any other race than human. Ann and Khovu do everything they can to not fall apart from Ann's father. They both are determined to not leave. But will it last long?

This story is about a recruit which accidently joined an spartan elite team sent to kill an elite general.......

"Now, now. Who let these little rugrats in?" Joked a fellow officer, his arms crossed against his armor chest. Joseph-098 was always on the tough side with things, but was never a bad friend. His exterior may make him come off as a jerk or someone who simply doesn't care, but he has a heart a gold. "Don't know, don't care. Better to not ask questions you don't want the answer to, right?" Carol-127 responded with, glancing up at Joseph's gold visor. The male returned her gaze, before smirking underneath his helmet. He had a plan to mess with these kids. "Carol, do you remember the ventilation patterns?" "Of course I do! That's how I used to get around, you big idiot." Carol told him, but there was no malice in her tone. Just two friends, messing around. "Why did you ask? Have something in mind?" Carol asked, her eyes glinting with excitement, though Joseph couldn't see them. Joseph grinned with giddiness, letting go of his soldier attitude. Admittedly, though, it wasn't exactly there in the first place. "Oh yeah, I do. Imagine all of the pranks we could pull on these rookies." Carol basically bounced on her heels, ready to mess with some recruits, but the two were interrupted by a familiar friend. "Sorry to disappoint, but you guys can't pull any pranks right now. We need to train these little rugrats, as you called them." Evan-163 told the two, his SMG in hand, the other strapped to his hip. Carol let out a sigh of disappoint, Joseph frowned in displeasure. Evan just shrugged off their reactions to the news, thinking that it wasn't so bad. "C'mon. We have to teach these guys to be Spartans, and besides... we have no limits with these training sessions." Evan told them with a glint of mischievous on his tongue. The two suddenly perked up again. "No limits, eh?" Joseph questioned, before returning Carol's gaze. Evan could've swore he could feel their smirks from underneath their helmets. "This is going to be so much fun." Carol exclaimed in joy.

The year is 2552. The Human-Covenant War is in its final days. The shady Lykaon Corporation, known as a vital contributor to the war effort, but unknown for its illegal activities, has set about creating a black-ops squad of highly trained killing machines - dubbed 'Project WOLF'. This band of super soldiers are tasked with securing a company asset that has suddenly gone dark. The mission is to be high and tight, nobody can know. But this 'asset' is also in the path of another undercover squad, Nyx Team - three Spartan III's and a Spartan II with the sole purpose of doing whatever ONI wants of them, no matter the price or consequences. As tensions rise, and both factions clash in a race against time, something ancient stirs beneath their feet, something that can destroy them all. This story takes place in the Bungie/343 established Halo Universe. It intermingles, but does not change the canon or continuity of the games or novels. This is a work of fan fiction. *sigh* I never thought I'd have to write those words in the title. Anyways, to celebrate the launch of Halo 2A on the MCC on PC I thought I might write this and see how it goes! I decided to skip Halo CE since that game is pretty simple with a pretty small story. I plan on putting my own little ideas in the book to make you fit in more naturally so buckle up boys!
