Book 03/06 (Current Version: Prototype - Version 1.0) This story/fanfiction is a 'what if scenario' within the Sci-Fi videogame series known as Halo and is based on an original character named 'Lieutenant Serenity McKnight' that partners with the legendary Master Chief himself, after the UNSC Pillar of Autumn had escaped a Halo Ring known as Installation 04 by the help of a mysterious alien of myth and legend called a Forerunner. The UNSC and their newest ally embark on a heavy defensive throughout Earth against the enemy, protecting humanities home planet at all cost. Lieutenant Serenity McKnight and her brothers and sisters in arms do their best to make the best of the war at the African front nearing New Mombasa. Doing so until an unknown mission would begin, deep in the jungle. The story is a 'reimagining' of Halo and is non-canon and is to be not taken seriously as this was an idea created back when I first played the games. Combat Evolved is the first book of my main series known as 'Halo Battle Buddies' and will lead up to the first game and beyond. When the Covenant was attacking all humanity and Earth's colonies, when the Covenant found a little girl name Y/n Sam Rosa Pendragon Roa who can activate the Forerunner Artifacts, including the S.H.C(E). They take her to the High Charity, which surprised both the Covenant and the Prophets, Y/n was part human sangheili forerunner, when she reached the age of 17 when she joined the Covenant and be with her father name Thel(Arbiter) who is wise elite, but Y/n calls her father Papa or Pa. When she went to her fight against the enemy, the UNSC and Spartans captured Y/n, as UNSC trying to make Y/n join, in 2539, the Covenant and the S.H.C did a temporary truce as the S.H.C invaded Reach and bring back Y/n to the Covenant, as the failed attempt to occupied the planet since that S.H.C came with fewest ships but pack with strong soldiers, as the war was coming to a end for the S.H.C, they were teleported to a new world call Remnant, will the four kingdoms and Menagerie have peace or war. -I do not support any Nazi ideals or any of its goals- -Warning this contains: Gore, Blood, War, Violence, Violent, Dark and light humor, Dark and light jokes, Death, Nudity, Lemon, Strong Language, alcohol, drugs, racism, discrimination, cannibalism-

In a galaxy-wide war. For over 20 years, humanity has been on the defensive, surviving against the odds from a genocidal religious alien cult known as the Covenant. Fighting for humanities very existence, untold numbers of UNSC forces will lay down their lives so that countless others may live. This story is a "what if scenario" and unique take on an idea that the creators of Halo original made for a draft to how Halo 2 was supposed to end during the designing phase of the videogames. (When Halo 2 was the "last game" and Halo 3 wasn't supposed to exist due to the current development schedules at the time). That idea being how Master Chief and Commander Miranda Keyes were supposed to have a "romantic relationship" at the end of the game, but scrapped it due to it making no sense for this to even happen. So, this story about this concept of an unlikely relationship with Master Chief and Commander Miranda Keyes and will recreate it to be more complex and expand this scrapped idea and potential make something of it. Ultimately, during the darkness of war, the time for companionship is an afterthought as time passes and chaos continues. Will this unlikely duo that being the legendary Spartan 2 Master Chief and UNSC Commander Miranda Keyes grow closer together against such darkness against the Covenant, or fall victim as many have before them.

But near 2553, the brute managed to capture her and brought her to the last remaining prophet, the Prophet of Truth and his crumbling covenant empire, but luckily the Master Chief and the Arbiter save her, and the covenant has fallen, but the last threat was the flood, but after everything has happened, the flood was gone, the covenant has collapsed, but many former or still in the covenant were in hiding. As soon as the San'shyuum finished speaking, a deafening blast spread throughout all the combatants' ears on the Ark. A shining light blinded everyone, not just at the Ark, but throughout the universe... the Halo array had fired. As John 117 started to open his eyes, he was staring at the sky... what? It surprised John that he was alive, and when he started to look about the area he was in, he realized he wasn't alone. Many marines, Unggoy, Sangheili, and Kig Yar were there too, all breathing. As John looked around, he saw he was on top of a large metal platform, painted blue and yellow. As the other allied troops woke up, they could only stare in shock. One of the marines, while in his confused state said, "I have got to stop taking that damned vodka!"

As you read you will be hearing the story of a ODST Stranded, by himself he will have to overcome a new type of enemy while also finding what has happen to his squad and earth.
