Halt O'Carrick thought life had finally settled down for a bit. Will was back in Araluen and healing from his trauma, the King had revoked his banishment and he hadn't been called on too many life-threatening situations. Life was great, right? When a fire in the middle of the night forced him and Will to escape their tiny cabin in the woods, a deeper plot is discovered which involves his dear apprentice. Now, with the help of Gilan and Crowley, Halt must overcome the past and get to the bottom of this conspiracy, before it catches up to him and Will. Hi. So these are a bunch of short stories about various Ranger's Apprentice characters. I'm going to try to stay as much to the storyline as I could, I'm not going to pretend that Alyss had a child and whatnot. Please feel free to comment suggestions for stories, or say what you liked, you know. Okay, enjoy! All the characters are John Flanagan's!

This is the life of Will.Alyss.Halt.Horace.Gilan.Jenny.Tug. Basically everyone in the story. This is the story of their lives, not in the spotlight of the book. This is their unseen life.

When the two members of the IF(Intelligence Force, AKA Rangers) discover something that could threaten their world, what will they do?

Will Treaty's training had been going well. Halt hadn't made too many sarcastic comments, they had stopped a group of bandits the previous week, and he was learning and improving quickly. One day, Will spots a girl in the village, but she seems....different. Determined to figure out more about her, Will searches for answers but that causes more trouble with Halt, his training, and much more. *I only created the mystery girl, all others belong to John Flanagan, the author of RA.*

While Halt and Crowley are traveling home from Celtica they encounter an unlikely figure standing on the road, and are soon swept up into an adventure that neither of them expected.

Halt is on his way to the annual Ranger Gathering. Gilan, his apprentice has claimed to be sick so that he could follow and surprise his mentor. Things take a turn for the worse when they get to the gathering...

Gilan has been apprenticed to the famous Halt O'Carrick for two years now. He's excelled in every aspect of his training, especially in unseen and silent movement. Becoming a Ranger is all Gilan has ever wanted for the majority of his life. Of course, he still trains under MacNeil in Carraway Fief. But as Gilan leaves for what he thinks is another uneventful journey to study under the swordsman, he finds himself crossing paths with a nasty enemy. One of Morgarath's most trusted allies has managed to escape the hands of the Ranger Corps for two years, a problem that is so concerning, King Duncan has threatened to reevaluate the Corps members if this man goes unchecked. And Gilan finds himself in the heart of the enemy's camp. Will Gilan escape to tell Halt? If he does, can the two of them, along with a few others from the Corps, track down this enemy and finally capture him? What's more, will this ally lead them to Morgarath and give them the chance to stop this warlord once and for all?
