In a world where humans fear and judge those who are different, Halves are the ones who pay the highest price. Paige knows how to survive - until a boy she saves makes her question everything. But some pasts can't be outrun, and some powers can't be controlled.

Everyone in this world contains an "Otherside," the half of ourselves that we refuse to acknowledge. What happens when we do acknowledge them though? The answer is simple, we become one. We open ourselves to everything we have ever feared. We let in the dark and cast out the light. These are the case studies of five different people, who have lead different lives, but all have one thing in common. They now can see their "Othersides." What will happen to these people, will they cling onto who they are now, or will they do the unthinkable and accept their "Othersides."

But one day all that changed when Lucas met a woman named Caitlyn. Caitlyn was the only person Lucas has talked to ever since foster home, and she knew Lucas better than any one, she knew what Lucas had desired,but she then had to leave him after a while,which all lead to Lucas greatest breakdown.when he swore he'd never trust any one

Check out the re-written version of this discontinued book called "blindfolded to beauty." It's way better because it's less stereotypical, it includes character development, and a better use of grammar.
