Hamartia ~ A fatal flaw.

I was young, stupid, and in love with all the wrong people.

This story is about 16 year old Joy who meets the beautiful 17 year old Samual. They both have pretty much everything in common but just a couple of Hamartias change everything.

"Au revoir means 'until we meet again'. Goodbye would have sounded too final." Madeleine and Jordan, both emotionally withdrawn and concealing tormented psyches, are bound together inextricably by a strange coincidence. A coincidence that births in the two of them an instinctive awareness of having known the other before, impossible to place. Almost as if they made their first meeting in a past life. Soon they are infatuated with each other, irrevocably in love, consumed by memories that aren't their own. But vibrant sunflowers and first dates are lacerated by the blade of a deep-rooted curse. Malevolent powers threaten to reduce their saccharine-sweet delusion to embers. Can the doomed lovers evade the deadly vengeance of a universe seemingly set on tearing them apart?

"Go Grease Lightning!" The Sylvister Academy of Performing Arts has been in the works for six years now, bringing certain teenagers into a world full of drama, choir, art, and dance. The main theme of the drama club has been focusing around musicals, each class being the study of a certain musical per day. By a unanimous vote, the drama club is going to be performing their adaption of Grease at the end of the year Arts Festival. Harriet Bardot, a drama club enthusiast, is not excited to find out that the actors and actresses must perform several dances and songs. She can sing and sing well, but her dancing was the worst of everyone. Accused of left feet all her life, she contemplates whether or not she should give up this project. But, since it counts towards her final grade, she decides to stay in and continue the rehearsals of Grease. She ends up being cast as Sandy, which is a bummer because she must dance a lot. Her life turns upside down, however, when she attempts to learn the sock hop for the history of the movie. Having the hand jive down, the sock hop was something they were adding just for the sake of having fun. Turns out, Harriet is awful at the sock hop and cannot do it whatsoever. Gerald, her mentor, is completely frustrated with her inability and decides to give up. This hamartia is most definitely a tough cookie to crack.

My name is Christina Thrillwall. I am the typical nerd you might see at Literature Class. My life is pretty normal and perfect until I went to college. I have a lot of problems. Like what? Grades, college people, boys, and the environment. I became friends with this so-called Greek god. He's the whole definition of perfect. But ever since I started college, a lot of things happened.
