Three years. Three years without his touch, without hearing his voice or having him there to pick her up off the ground when she needed it. Three years. But that was three years ago, and now, Odessa was auditioning to be an ensemble dancer in an up and coming musical, Hamilton. Her entire life, she had loved to dance. And now, if she made this audition, she would get paid for doing what she loved. An actual dream come true. For three years, Odessa had been building herself up so that she could bring herself to forget about him, but three years can go down the drain in the blink of an eye.

i used to think adopted stories were weird but i read some and loved them so i wrote my own. a 12 year old girl named Piper is left alone in front of the Richard Rodgers theatre in the cold while her rich foster parents watch Hamilton without her because they don't like her.
