Certain that it's going to be a boring summer, Eliza has low expectations until she and her brother meet and befriend the Sandlot boys, including one Benjamin Franklin Rodriguez. Suddenly, the summer has the makings of being one of the best of her life. That is, until Scotty gets the whole gang into the biggest pickle they'd ever been in. {CURRENTLY UNDER MAJOR RECONSTRUCTION} It's a year after the "Big Pickle", and Benny "The Jet" Rodrigues became a neighborhood legend, since he tamed the beast Hercules, but one thing still hasn't changed; he's not on the baseball team, and that was thanks to the school newspaper and a frightened Phillips, who decided to use bribery to achieve his means. Of course, this didn't bother him much. He simply continued on his merry way, playing at the Sandlot with his best friends, and having late night camp outs in the Timmon's tree house. All was well, and they didn't want anything to change. That is, until two tomboys moved in next door. The sisters quickly caught the eye of the group, and some felt like they should take them in, others felt they shouldn't, and that things were okay as they were. This story is about those girls, and their lives in this group, along with their lives after it.

"I miss screaming and fighting and kissing in the rain, now it's 2 am and I'm cursing your name." Hope Brown wasn't planning on sticking around, neither was her grandma. New town, new summer, same plan: stay invisible, stay moving, never let anyone matter. But the Sandlot boys have a way of noticing things-especially Benny, all swagger and sunlight, the kind of boy who turns base-stealing into hard liqour poetry. Hope throws harder than she talks. She barely smiles, but when she does... it sticks with you. She's got calluses on her palms and a storm behind her eyes. And Benny? Benny's the first person who doesn't flinch. "He asked what I was running from. I asked what he was running toward. We never answered." In a summer of cracked bats, firefly-lit fences, and almost-kisses that taste like bubblegum and fear, Hope has to decide: Does she want to be the girl who leaves again-or the one who finally stays? "I have emotional motion sickness, somebody roll the windows down."

Jessie Denunez is Kenny's twin sister who happens to play baseball with her brother and his bestfriends. She most definitely has a crush on benny. But Benny isn't the only one who likes her, Philips has a crush in her too along with most of the town. Jessie is naturally gorgeous and she's nice leading many people in town to swoon over her. (btw I made Kenny and Jessie Blasian)

"She's just a girl! She can't play ball!" That's what everyone said about Ellie Parker, at least the boys and all the bossy preppy girls in her neighborhood.
