This is a lil' one shot I wrote when I was singing a draft I had of "Burn" from Lauren's perspective (reacting to Alexander marrying Eliza ). Everyone needs a little angst now and then, right? I cried a little while writing this. Also, this fic contains ACTUAL quotes from REAL letters that the real ALEXANDER HAMILTON to JOHN LAURENS.

A cute modern lams story. Laurens is sooooo in love with Alexander the day that he meets him. So what's wrong? He's not sure if Alexander likes him. Also includes Mullette and Jeffmads.

Hamilton is a wolf hybrid, living on the streets and struggling to survive. Hybrids are legal but often frowned upon in society, so many of them end up on the streets. Hamilton looks after many different hybrids, treating them all as though they were his siblings. Laurens is rich, he works for George Washington and The Yorktown Times. He lives in a penthouse and never has to work for anything, but he does anyway. John's apartment is lonely, quiet, even when all of his friends are there wreaking havoc. What happens when Laurens meets Hamilton when looking for food to feed his cubs? TW: - possible blood and gore (?) - cussing - Just angst. ~something's may be particularly triggering, so if you're sensitive to certain topics please be careful and probably don't read this (just in case)~

John Laurens has had heterochromia his whole life. His left eye is ocean blue, the other is hazel brown. His sister Martha, who has it as well, comforts him through the constant bullying. John moves up from South Carolina to a big house on the busy streets of Manhattan, New York. He takes it as his opportunity to start over. So, he uses sunglasses to hide his eyes, or push his hair so it's covering his left eye. Alexander Hamilton is a popular kid. He's 17, has a car, smokin' hot, and a flaming bisexual in disguise as a straight fuckboy. He immediately takes interest in the mysterious boy. Though, his attempts to speak to him usually ends up in failure. Alexander, being the too determined boy he is, doesn't stop trying. How did Alexander find out? Why isn't he calling him a freak?
