Hamlet is many things, but stupid is not one of them. Horatio wishes he could do more than watch his friend, the man he loves, destroy himself. This is a more detailed look at Act 5 scene 2 of Hamlet with a focus on the perspective and emotions of Horatio. There is some subtle hamlet/horatio if you squint, but what can i say? I'm a sucker for my favorite tragic danish boyfriends. I may add more to this this eventually, but I think I'll mark it as complete for now. This is my first published story since 7th grade, (I know, right?) so please give me your thoughts on it!

In which Ophelia dissapears, and Hamlet is a mess

(re-upload of 'The Prince of Denmark is Alive and tired as Hell' bc my account got locked for some reason) Hamlet's barely managed to escape execution in England, but that's the least of his problems. Now in Scotland and accompanied by Fortinbras of Norway, our favourite disaster prince has to get back to Denmark and not get murdered in the process. but Hamlet's not the only one struggling, both Horatio and Ophelia find themselves targeted by the new king's men and are forced to leave Elsinore. Laertes is thrust into the plot against Claudias by his sister's... wife? what will become of our beloved disaster children? only time and my incredibly short attention span will tell. basically everyone is gay exept for Claudius and Gertrude. maybe some nsfw but who knows? not me certainly.

A little story about Hamlet and Horatio falling in love like they should've. I don't exactly know when in the story this would take place but it doesn't really matter, this story is just in good fun! :) This is my first fanfiction after being away from it for about 5(?) years, so constructive criticism/suggestions are greatly appreciated, just please be kind!
