Coming from a well-known clan, he pursued a playboy lifestyle, only to take little attention to his father's criminal empire. Although he had experienced petty arguments from his family, he only wanted to live a life of peace and tranquility. But all of that was going to change...for a matter of time. The two fostered great bonds as they came to different trials and hardships that life gives. Both tolerate each one's being with patience and caution. But as time passes they now began to surface feelings that dwelled long within their core. Would this strengthen the bond they have for each other? Would Genji change (Y/N)'s long vigil? Would they turn to opposite ways? Or perhaps they would live life as simple? It's up to them to balance the strings of entwined fate between the two...

An alternate universe where the characters of Overwatch are swapped with others. For example, Genji won the fight with Hanzo and became power hungry. Or, where Mercy was consumed by finishing Moira's work. Or, like where Reaper was healed by Moira, and became a vigilante. I know Overwatch's community is becoming a ghost town, but still. I want to put these ideas on paper.

Hi there! Vigilante here with a small Shimada story for you all! For a little bit of a test. So far this story of mine is actually the SMALLEST! Reaching a total of 1,706 words! Wooo! I wrote something smaller-ish! Anyway! This story requires a bit of contextual knowledge, particularly on the Japanese gods and even some small details on weapons, if you're unsure of what exactly those things are- don't hesitate to google them! I managed to throw a bit of symbolism in for the title of this one, though it's in Japanese the title translates to "Breaking The Sword" (roughly.) "How is this at all symbolic?" You may ask- well! The answer is simple, my dear reader. The sword is said to symbolise courage and strength! And well- in order to break that- or would mean that there is a lack of the presence of strength/bravery. As you'll find- there is such evidence that alludes to the title meaning in the story, though it isn't as evident as I'd like it to be! Well! Without further ado! Here's a Shimada Brothers Story!
