This is my second entry in the #MyHandmaidsTale Contest The chosen few handmaids of Gilead await their new lives in what was once O'Hare Airport. This is a fan-fiction based on the world of "The Handmaids Tale". It is its own story with its own characters and the struggles they face. We follow multiple characters in this story with each character telling their story in their own chapters; Maryanne, Linda, Thomas and Yvonne. I have only written one chapter, told by Maryanne, so far. I will continue to write whenever I have time and inspiration. Let me know if you like it! (English is not my first language so this can make my writing and especially the conversations between characters seem odd and misplaced, so please let me know what I can change to make it better!).
