My mother would actually have a heart attack if she heard me singing this on a Capitol stage, in front of all of Panem, but she can't hear me. Two girls, Abigail and her little sister Katelyn, have to escape their fate as dead ones on the tree their brother was on a 2 years ago. Will their father find them? With they lose their lives? Will "The Hanging Tree" continue to live out it's name? Read 'The Monster' to see their fate.

As soon as the arena exploded, I knew our plan had worked. All I needed to do now was find Katniss, Beetee, Finnick or Johanna. I saw a figure in the distance. "Johanna!" I called out to her. A hovercraft circled ahead. Haymitch and district 13 had seen us. We were going to live. "RUN!" Screamed Johanna. Confused I looked up. It wasn't district 13's. It was the Capitol's. Something stung the side of my head and I felt dizzy. I looked back and Johanna was on the ground, being picked up by the machine. We weren't going to make it, but in my heart I knew Katniss was going to be ok.
