Mavi "Dark-Bringer" Mitchell knew she would have two guys running after her, but that's the fun part, isn't it? Mavi grew up with Rooster while Maverick and Goose were still at Top Gun. Maverick had Penny take Mavi in fear of what would happen to her if an enemy fleet attacked. Mavi came back to be part of Top Gun, graduated at second-best (Hangman was first). Called back to Top Gun with the elite graduates for more training. Mavi felt a little weird with her father teaching her, but that didn't stop her from throwing him off with a few tricks she learned from Goose. In this Alternate Universe, Amelia (Penny's daughter) does not exist. ICEMAN DOES NOT DIE IN THIS AU. I do not own any characters in this story except for Mavi. This title wasn't what I originally had in mind, but it suits the story.
