(a Detroit Become Human oneshot) | Maybe it's because he's the most advanced prototype Cyberlife has; even before deviancy, he often seemed more human than he had any right to. But then, he would do something that brought the reality of his being back to Hank like a cold bucket of water. At the time he'd thought it made him angry because it was true. Now he's realized it was because he always sort of knew it wasn't.

He wasn't sure when it started but it was there now. Small errors and glitches in his software that weren't there when he started this mission.

After the Andriod Legal Rights were establishd, Detective [Y/N] [L/N], a new addition to the Detroit Police Department, has been partnered up along with Lieutenant Hank Anderson and Connor, an andriod sent by CyberLife, to hunt down criminals. Criminals that mainly target andriods. [NOTE: if it isn't obvious by the first few words, this takes place AFTER the story in the game.] Disclaimer: I do NOT own any of these characters unless otherwise stated. Set after Detroit: Become Human (Markus's revolution was peaceful and successful. Connor, having turned deviant, is still working for the DCPD and as Hank's partner, no longer under the influence of Cyberlife's protocols) The tension between aggressive androids and malicious humans would inevitability clash, and the results would be in destructive every time. Whenever an android was involved in a serious case, Hank and Connor were assigned to it. However, something ancient yet new is stirring in Detroit. Both partners are about to have their perspectives on reality altered yet again. As for Connor, he was going to experience a new spectrum of emotions. A new spectrum that would make him understand even more of what it means to be human.

*Follows the storyline of Detroit: Become Human* You've been working at Detroit City Police Department for a few years, being in the police force had been you're dream job since you were a child. Currently, you investigated human crimes. Recently, you've been given the task of investigating cases involving deviant androids. The sudden change from investigating humans to androids is going to be tough to get used to, but you knew you could handle it. They also decided to partner you up with Hank Anderson, which surprised you considering he hated androids. You had nothing against androids, unlike you're partner, Hank. You had no reason to hate them, they had never done anything to wrong you. Most of them are actually quite nice, not counting the deviants. Hank had always been like a father to you, and like any other human he would easily get upset and angered, sometimes even lashing out on you. You knew that he never meant any of the harsh words, so you stuck by his side. When you were both assigned to the same investigation, you had both decided to go to the bar to celebrate. Everything seemed fine, until an android walked into the bar. Everyone watched as he approached us. "Lieutenant Anderson, Detective (l/n), my name is Connor. I'm the android sent by CyberLife."

You are a supporter for Android rights and recently moved in to Detroit. You grew up to be a successful person. Somehow. You help volunteer with a hotel that only takes in androids to help them and keeps them safe. Coincidentally, Markus, Kara, Alice, Luther, and the people of Jericho all live there now. (That's where you spend time with Kara and Markus) Your actual job is a being a new detective. And you were partnered with interesting people. Good luck with that. (That's where you spend time with Connor and Hank, while suffering) You have a secret SETTING AND STUFF Each chapter switches off to an event with you and a friend that is either Kara, Connor, or Markus in each chapter. This takes place after Detroit: Become Human with all good endings which are, Kara, Alice, and Luther make it to Canada, Connor is a deviant and Hank hugs him at the end, Markus creates peace with humans and androids 3rd Person Perspective Y/N = Your Name L/N = Last Name

A new android to the team is quite a new addition. Seeing how Hank has adapted to Connor, will he take as much notice to her as he did Connor? Will Connor take much interest in the new android? He's surely happy they're there... Emotions? Will Connor not having any get in the way?
