Standing in a room painted fully white, completely devoid of color, you are surrounded by a flock of Purple Martin birds. In the center of the flock, you see Connor sitting on his knees, fully stationary. As you walk closer to him, his LED slowly spins red. The sound of his slowly working biocomponents and his mechanical breaths fill the seemingly endless white void around you. The Purple Martins' singing chirps added to the almost-silent chaos of the room. Connor turns to look at you, his clothing stained with deep blue thirium. He touches his chest that has been destroyed with a gunshot wound, hands now covered in the blue liquid - almost as blue as the color of the Purple Martins that surround the both of you. "(y/f/n), I'm scared," he says, his voice filled with human-like emotion, breaking throughout every word. You find yourself unable to respond to him, unable to move. You watch as his LED stops blinking, his body becoming stiff as a rock. Suddenly, the white void is stained with the color of the ocean-blue thirium, the sound of the chirping Purple Martins falling silent. ----------- I do not own any of the characters in this story aside from the reader and any OC's. Some of the storyline and majority of the characters are owned by David Cage and the creators of Detroit: Become Human.

Two years after the android revolution, America officially passed the law that makes androids registered citizens. Designed to be a more aggressive counterpart to the RK800 model and assigned to Connor and Hank right after the revolution to help close as many deviancy cases as possible; Charlie, a BJ800 model, suddenly moves in with Connor after the law is passed. After applying for 'Forced Deviancy' they have to adjust to being able to feel more emotion and interact with humans more often. Charlie and Connor also have to accept that not all humans are happy that androids are now official people, as their work begins to hit closer to home. Soon after deviating, Charlie realizes she sees Connor as more than just a friend and coworker. "Fine? There's thirium everywhere. How are you not dead!?!" Y/n Anderson, the niece of the well-known detective, Hank Anderson, lives in a rather rough household with her narcissistic abusive father. Y/n would always attempt to stay late at school studying and creating and repairing Android parts and pieces to avoid going back home. She would have to return sooner or later either way: she'd return to chastising words and physical harm from her father. He'd blame her for the death of her mother and drink his pain away, growing high on Red Ice. One day, her uncle Hank reaches out to her. He catches her father verbally abusing her through the phone and reports a file against his own brother. Soon putting him behind bars, meanwhile Y/n moves to Detroit with her uncle. He sends her to college to learn and study robotics and tech, even though she continued to tell him that he didn't need to pay for her college. Hank loved his niece more than anything, he accepted her as his own daughter ever since his son, Cole, passed at such a young age. Hank planned a trip for Y/n and him, to spend more quality time together, but she didn't arrive. Hank called her phone and she didn't answer. Growing worried, he went back to his home and saw a disaster of a house. Broken glass, empty bullet cases, and blood. Hank immediately called for a police search for his niece. That's when his partner, Conner, joined the investigation. Eventually they find her as a hostage to a deviant Android, holding her at gunpoint and threatening to kill her if the police didn't let him go. When the whole hostage crisis, Hank couldn't leave Y/n alone anymore but he also couldn't just quit his job, so he thought of the next best thing: turning Conner into her personal bodyguard. Y/n was still shaken up and traumatized by the whole ordeal. What'll happen when Conner goes against his orders? What'll happen if Hank finds out? Read more to know!!

Hey I've written DBH fanfic in the past but deleted them and never uploading. but It was the three year anniversary on the 25th of may I figured I would do one and post it ----------------------- It's been 2 years since Markus lead the deviants on a peaceful protest through the city of Detroit. Androids now have equal rights and can own property there's even laws against attacking them and even killing them. Crime against androids started getting higher some people want them to be eliminated. What happens when an Android hating detective is assigned the new RK900 model as his partner.
