But one day the station assigns you a new partner...an android. ----------------------------------------------------- hi! i'm mika! i've been super into Detroit Become Human again recently so I wanted to write my own little fanfic about it where you're Hank's daughter. I know I've seen a few other fanfics with a similar concept but I wanted to put my own little spin on it. I hope you enjoy my first non-walking dead fanfic!

So there I was, locked in a holding cell at whatever precinct it was in Detroit, Michigan in the year 2038. Really, the whole holding cell thing is a little excessive. I don't know why they needed to go these lengths. I'm in a tiny body, and unfortunately, YK500 androids aren't all that strong, or so I've learned. Mostly the hard way. Kara is sitting across from me, glaring of course, and it's honestly understandable. It's my fault we're here after all. Not really one of my finer moments, I will admit. But hey, it could be worse. At least I'm not dead. Anymore. Reader gets hit by a car and wakes up in the body of Alice Williams. Shenanigans ensue.

This is a crossover of three different games. Link (Legend of Zelda series) suddenly blacks out without warning. He wakes up in a different world where he helps Connor and Hank (Detroit: Become Human) and Vaughn, Handsome Jack, and Rhys (Tales from the Borderlands) solve a murder mystery and figure out what is going on. ** All characters belong to their respective owners ** Updates at least once every two weeks ** No curse words in the story, only mild drinking

The year is 2038. You had banked yourself a job in the Detroit Police Force investigating homicides with your partner Hank Anderson. When the news of a deviant (which had threatened to kill a child by suicide) broke, you and your partner had been assigned a new partner to work with you. An android, to be exact. What happens?

(SPOILERS!!) Hank Anderson has lost his son, he misses him lots but can't do anything about it. He is an alcoholic and is suicidal. One day, one of his most hated things, a Cyberlife Android, is given to him to solve investigations. At first he hates him, but will Hank warm up to this new machine?

After the revolution, Connor ends up homeless. Hank only just now finds out about this, of course taking the poor boy in. What else would he do? He couldn't just leave him on the streets to fend for himself. The fandom would kill him. Is Connor just a machine or is he alive? Hank may be the answer to that question.

CyberLife never could've predicted the android they had specifically designed to hunt deviants would become one himself. No one saw that coming. It wasn't long til the issue spiraled so far out of the control that the small DPD needed help from a much stronger agency. You hadn't been back to Detroit in years, hardly kept in contact with your father. It wasn't easy living in the decorated police lieutenant's shadow, but you were able to carve your own path by joining the FBI. Except now, you'll be heading home to help hunt down this rouge android. But what happens when you start to bond with the criminal you're supposed to be capturing? * (THIS BOOK IS A MESS RN SORRY) A deviant connor x reader fic with like an enemies to lovers / forbidden romance type plot. In this version, Connor almost immediately deviated after being activated so he never worked with Hank, instead he leads the deviants with Markus. Reader is bitter, cynical and has a hard time with connection, while Connor is just beginning to understand his emotions, this should be fun ;p also lots of angst with papa Hank, sensitive topics may be discussed so pls be aware of that before reading! <3 (NOT PROOF READ, ALSO I DONT OWN DBH DUH)

"I made your stress levels go down by thirteen percent, just by lying here. I still don't understand?" "I guess you really can't understand it. They're just stupid human feelings. You wouldn't know.." "You are correct. I am just a machine after all; I can't feel any emotions." But oh, you are so much more than that to Sam, aren't you Connor? ▪▪▪ Samantha Parker. That S.O.B everyone loves. She's one of the few female police officers here at DPD, but she does her job well. At least, up until Connor shows up. The other S.O.B. No, he doesn't understand the term, and he doesn't know if it's bad; he does, however, know deviancy is bad. And he cannot-- by all means --become a deviant. He would fail his mission. But maybe that's okay, knowing she is safe.

Sometimes things happen and there's nothing you can do about it. You feel powerless. You feel alone. You feel lost. But sometimes...all you need is that one person to find you again.

Eleven days after the revolution. Connor finds himself discovering who he is and who he wants to be all the while building a sturdy friendship with his partner, Hank, dealing with those who don't agree with android rights, and working on his position in the DPD. This is from Connor's POV, and it's mostly done for fun. Sorry if you dislike it. This does NOT include romantic ships. The character development is platonic, if not family. The exception would be if it is stated otherwise or the two are shipped canonically. Sorry if you're into that kind of thing, but I am not.

After the best ending of Detroit: Become Human, Hank lets Connor stay at his house. Hank used to hate androids. Connor has changed his entire perspective on that one. Connor is very similar to Cole, Hank's deceased son. Connor has gone deviant, and who knew that androids could have mental illnesses? Apparently they can! This little mentally ill family of two and their dog have many adventures, whether it be exciting or worrying. Hank and Connor and push through it. (This is not a Hank x Connor story. This is Hank sees Connor as his son and Connor sees Hank as his dad.)

He raises his hands beside his head. "I'm Connor. A deviant from Cyber Life." Soon, Hank walks slowly in with his gun raised. "And that is Lieutenant Anderson, my partner." He points a finger over to the man. "Like... Lovers?" The android lowers his weapon upon the questions.

Connor completed his mission, but not the one he was designed to do. He successfully awakened all androids at the Cyberlife tower and led the revolution to victory.
