But in this Fallout alternate universe, the past refuses to stay quiet. Forget the canon timeline. It isn't Lee Moldaver who breaches the steel doors of Vault 33 to drag Hank into the light. It is Rose -his original wife, the mother of his children, and a fiercely articulate surface survivor who is definitely not a feral mutant. This was written for the June 'Fill in the Fic' prompt contest, taking 2 characters, a reason why they shouldn't be together (exes!) and something that makes them address their feelings (telepathy!)
