He couldn't just leave him on the streets to fend for himself. The fandom would kill him. Is Connor just a machine or is he alive? Hank may be the answer to that question.

You all know the tale of Detroit and the revolution that took place where Androids were able to walk as their own people in society. Connor, the android sent by Cyberlife, is unsure now of what to do with his life since he has nowhere to call home now. Luckily for him someone has decided to take him in and teach him on how to become a real human. Hank Anderson. But Hank's motives are far different than the feelings for a comrade in the workforce, but rather of something far more.

Dainty hands pull on the silky white sheets. Pulling the sheets closer around the elegant and soft frame. The older male bites his bottom lip while staring at the nude person Infront of him, sprawled on the bed with the sheets draped over his body covering some parts he would love to explore. He just wanted to stop painting and- Brown orbs stared right at him suddenly through thick eyelashes. Pink soft looking lips stretched into a shy smile. One of the dainty hands went up to go through his curly dark brown hair. "You shouldn't move so much, you know?" The younger male giggles returning to his previous position. "You haven't even started painting." He has been staring for almost an hour.

Hank is left to raising his infant son Cole all by himself but unexpectedly finds help in Connor who had no interest in the small child at first.

Connor was sat at his desk, opposite hank. He felt numb. What was going on with him? He shouldn't be feeling like this. He shouldn't be feeling at all. He noticed Hank staring at him. "...so are we gonna talk about whatever that was back there?" The police station was almost empty, just a few nighttime officers at their desks, but Hank still kept his voice hushed. Connor had to keep his facade up, and had to pretend things were fine. They were fine. . . . . . ◟੭ TLDR : connor is a deviant and he'll do whatever he needs to in order to survive, including lying to hank. (hank knows hes a deviant - connor hasn't mastered how to deceive people yet)

Kamski invited Connor and Hank over as a way of celebrating their successes with the android revolution, considering they also saved him a lot of money. Now that Connor is free to do as he pleases, he still works by Hank's side to solve android homicides and hopefully put a stop to them. Kamski is very interested in Connor, in more ways than one. He wanted to understand why he refused to shoot Chloe, and to test his obedience, seeing just how far he could push him.

After Connor was tricked, trapped and kidnapped by Zlatko. Tortured, reassembled, and reprogrammed for months only for him to escape while Zlatko was killed by his own creations. Connor making his way to the only being he felt he could trust. But what a horrifying sight has he become. - "Somethings different." - (Contains smut, for 18+ readers)

I think it'd be fun to make this story a little interactive to fit the game better. As you'll see when you read the chapters, there are italicised words-- Connor's commands, options, his choices. I took the liberty of choosing for Connor, but as I reached chapter sixteen, I came up with the idea that consistent, dedicated readers should be able to chose occasionally for Connor, directing which path the story will be told in. Now, here's what could be hard for you all: I said consistent. The sooner you read my chapter and vote on which of Connor's choices you think should be continued with, the sooner the next chapter comes out. If nobody agrees (2/3/4 choices, 2/3/4 people each pick one and nobody agrees), I might have to choose what happens. Androids, mankind's aids, built in its likeness, a 'mindless' machine made to help. What happens when they deviate? It was bound to happen eventually yet people arrogantly doubted their creations. Because of this humanity went into a frenzy when the first deviants started to pop up. To combat this they made the first detective android, RK800, otherwise known as Connor. His task was to catch and learn about the deviants. He was assigned to be lieutenant Hank Anderson partner.
