Androids, mankind's aids, built in its likeness, a 'mindless' machine made to help. What happens when they deviate? It was bound to happen eventually yet people arrogantly doubted their creations. Because of this humanity went into a frenzy when the first deviants started to pop up. To combat this they made the first detective android, RK800, otherwise known as Connor. His task was to catch and learn about the deviants. He was assigned to be lieutenant Hank Anderson partner. Androids don't feel. So why then is RK800 experiencing a corruption in his programming after probing the memory of a broken WR400 and what does it mean for his ability to complete his mission?

Detroit Become Human AU. Connor is the new (human) Detroit Police Department rookie, partnered with Lieutenant Hank Anderson, but Hank realizes something is not right when he see's his new rookie partner walking home in the ice and snow. When he discovers Connor is homeless, he invites the rookie to live with him as "What kind of Lieutenant would I be if my new rookie partner was found outside sleeping?" Hank discovers more about his new roommate, things he never expected.

After the revolution, Connor ends up homeless. Hank only just now finds out about this, of course taking the poor boy in. What else would he do? He couldn't just leave him on the streets to fend for himself. The fandom would kill him. Is Connor just a machine or is he alive? Hank may be the answer to that question.

After the Android Revolution, a law was created to give rights to androids to be treated as equal to humans. Unfortunately, not everyone is in agreement of this idea. One of these people are Gavin Reed. Ever since the law was passed, Gavin has been deteriorating. His opinions starts to affect his work. So as a way to solve this problem he is given an android partner, an RK900 model, Conan. Neither Gavin nor Conan is pleased with their situation. WARNING: Swearing (as you can see in the title), none of these characters are mine (obviously), the story is written in Gavin's perspective but with third person pronoun, I'm not that knowledgeable about the Police so I apologize in advance if I get anything wrong. Also: this fic is 90% crack cuz I can't do serious. I take it back it's 100% crack. I take it back it's 9000% crack. Changes in universe: RK900 will be referred to as Conan (as said in the summary), Gavin and Elijah are twins (although Elijah is barely mentioned [nevermind he's in the story now]), and there is also romance between Gavin with Conan and Hank with Connor and more (Uh... I guess spoilers to this fanfic: Elijah and Leo because I felt like it) Comments and corrections are welcomed. (Please tell me if I had made a mistake)

The fight was over and Androids had finally been given freedom, along with the few humans who couldn't accept it. Hank and Connor stayed partners at Detroit Police and were at the high of their bond when suddenly, Captain Fowler assignned them new partners. Even as life for Detroit's freed androids settles into some semblance of pleasant normalcy, pointed reminders that they are not truly human remain. As DPD's first android staff member, Connor is allotted a desk complete with nameplate but there's an emptiness about it that he can't ignore...

Hank is left to raising his infant son Cole all by himself but unexpectedly finds help in Connor who had no interest in the small child at first.
