Avery Hannah Williams, born April second, 1998, exactly a month before the Battle of Hogwarts. Her parents, James and Avery Williams. When her father and mother, active members of the Order of the Phoenix and good friends of Nymphadora Lupin (who still went by Tonks), went to join the battle, they foolishly brought her with them. Bellatrix Lestrange Stunned James, holding Avery off as Fenrir Grayback sloppily killed him. Next to die was Avery, her month-old girl clutched to her chest. Fenrir attacked baby Avery and bit her, but before he could kill her, Remus and Nymphadora Lupin arrived. That was when Bellatrix Lestrange made Edward Lupin an orphan. However, Aberforth Dumbledore scooped up little Avery while sending curses Bellatrix's way. Moments later, Hermione Granger, Ginny Weasley, and Luna Lovegood took his place so that he could take the baby away from the fighting. Remus and Nymphadora were Avery's godparents, but since they were killed, Avery couldn't live with them, and neither could their baby. Edward Lupin lived partly with his grandmother Andromeda Tonks, and partly with his godparents Harry and Ginny Potter. However, Avery had nowhere to go. So, Andromeda adopted her, too.
