When Crawford's daughter gets back from the UK after graduating from college, her father asks hr to help him solve some cases. The girl meets Hannibal Lecter, and reattach her long friendship with Alana Bloom. The attraction between the girl and the famous psychiatrist is questionable, but she will do all she can to get what she wants.
After Lecter goes to prison, she promises him she will find a way to prove that the man is not the Chesapeake Ripper, even though he indeed is.
