Hansel Stories

A unique parody of the classic fairy tale, Hansel and Gretel. In this story, things get different from the original very fast, and some of the most surreal twists are added.

The last child born of a people dating back before the beginning of time, coveted by some, hunted by others - this is the story of young Gretel. Beyond beauty and imagination we follow the lives of young Gretel and her brother Hans, as her only daughter relives their past through a forgotten diary. A story of the love and connection between brother and sister, they have only each other within a world filled with deceit and those who wish to invoke revenge for their people’s history…, and those who want to discover the secrets of the powers they possess. Book One begins with the story of Gretel, the last child born of a people who walked the deserts of the earth before the beginning of time, as she sets off in search of those still alive and in hiding for her own survival and for the very survival of the Children of The Sun. Update: April 2013: You can now purchase the complete paperback version on Amazon by searching for 'Gretel: The Children of the Sun.' Kindle version will be available mid June 2013. Book Two of 'The Children of the Sun' trilogy is currently in the works and will be available sometime in 2014. I would like to take this time to thank everyone who has taken the time to read, comment and vote on the current and previous drafts. It's been a fun ride!

The sisters have deep dark secrets of their own.

This is my take on a mashup of hansel and gretel and beauty and the beast Where a twin brother cares only about himself and gets turned into a beast and his sister becomes deathly ill because of how much she loves and cares about her brother and it teaches him to love and care about more than himself.

The Utopia Series is a re-imagining of all the classic fairy tales into one world called Utopia. Act One looks at Rose "Little Rose" Redd as she discovers Utopia (via Wonderland). Act Two acts as prequels focusing on some of the background characters in their individual stories (Rapunzel, Peter Pan, Alice, Snow White, etc.) roughly twelve years earlier (in Utopian time, of course... I'm not quite sure how that compares to our time, but hey...) .

This version was made by a cringey child. It's incomplete and downright awful. I'm keeping it as record keeping of my writing skills. To read the actual good version click the link below. PLEASE READ NEW VERSION HERE https://www.wattpad.com/story/337331769-the-birth-of-a-wishing-heart
