I watched True Beauty and was really interested in the chemistry and tension between Han Seo-jun and Kang Soo-jin. Even though they were not lovers in the original drama - and Soo-jin was more of a grey character - I always wondered... What if they met in another universe? What if their story was different? So I decided to create Our Unfinished Melody - a fictional alternate-universe drama where two completely different people slowly become connected through music, memories, pain, and fate. This story is not related to the original True Beauty storyline. It's simply inspired by the emotions and chemistry I imagined between the characters.
