Alicia Carson is in her last year of high school and a somewhat proud employee who works at a Burger King inside the airport. She had been working there for about three moths now and had already become familiar with the loud, never-ending noise and the busy rustling of people across the cold, marble tiles. She had also become familiar with seeing an old lady waiting patiently in front of terminal 49 at two in the noon sharp and leaving at only half-past two, when the doors would close in preparation of the next flight to land. There are infinite rumours about the old lady, as countless as the stars in the sky; ranging from her being a ghost to running away from a mental institutions. If only she had the creative imagination of her co-workers. Maybe then, she could properly decide and finish her long-dreaded and still incomplete essay for collage whose deadline, by the way, was fast approaching.
