AUTHOR'S NOTE ♡ Hello, lovely readers! I'm the author of Everything My Heart Desires, and this is my very first attempt at writing a story. I hope you'll give it a chance and enjoy the journey with me. This is a wholesome story about love, ambition, finding your purpose, discovering your strength, and believing that the things your heart truly desires can find their way to you. At its heart, it's the story of a simple, grounded Indian girl and the beautiful, unexpected journey life takes her on-through love, dreams, self-discovery, and everything in between. Meet Laney A. fleury, 18 years old. She is an introvert, it takes her awhile for her to feel comfortable around new people. Even though she is an introvert, she is not afraid to share her emotions, with those she trusts and feels for. She has no direction toward her future, so she decides to take a year off of school. All her life all she's known is high school, and she is lost. Summer is here now, and her plan is to find a job and hang out with her best friend Ellayne Rose until she leave her. She is very laid back but at the same time she is aware of everything around her. Her mother is a traveling nurse, and is barely home. Meet 21 year old Ollie Evren Volkov. He lives in Mercer Island in Seattle, Washington. He is a businessman. Ollie has his life figured out, but family has always been strange. Ollie left Brooking Oregon 4 years ago, and vowed to return only when fern One day his mother left without an explanation, his father refused to share any information. After his mother disappeared his father slowly began to fall apart. Ollie was left to take care of Fern, and when he turned 18 he graduated high school. His father began to act like a father again. Ollie was offered a scholarship to study in Seattle, Washington. He couldn't pass up this opportunity. He knew he needed to go, but at the same time didn't want to leave fern behind. He promised her he would return to her, when she needed him. So he decided to leave and he hasn't returned since.

Yeon-Seo came from an rich family. Her father is very strict about her and doesn't allow her to have friends. She has an older brother named Min Yoongi and he loves her sister very much, but he rarely came home because he went to chase his dreams. When she was younger, she met a boy named Jeon Jungkook. He was a loving and caring boy. She loved him and he loved her. The love you think isn't the type of boyfriend and girlfriend. However, one day, Jungkook had to leave her because his parents are also from an rich family. Jungkook had to study aboard. Jungkook was one year older than Yeon-Seo. They met when Yeon-Seo was 6 years old and he left when she was 10 years old. Now, Yeon-Seo is 16 years old and has decided to run away from home. However, luck isn't coming her way and a car hits her hard. She goes to the hospital and Jungkook has come back. Yeon-Seo meets Jungkook at the hospital, she only remembers Jungkook. Because of her current situation, Yeon-Seo had to live with Jungkook because she didn't remember anyone else. Jungkook has changed and Yeon-Seo acts like a child because of her memories from when they were young. Will she ever remember what had happened before she lost her memories? Or will something darker be coming her way?

This book is, more than anything, a little "therapy" from me to myself, plus not the next big jewel of English literature, but at the very least a start to see what will be possible to be achieved later on in life. This book's organization is going to be divided by "poems", followed by some kind of story that gave it birth, or in general just my own thoughts that were used to write these short attempts to be the Millenial Poe. I hope that those who read it, can feel identified and realize that they are not alone; and specially they may find the will to find a solution for your own pain. I'll be writting it at the very least one chapter every three days.
