This is Yash Shekhawat's story. (I originally posted this as a fanfiction on another website, but this works well as a standalone drabble story, so I changed the names and re-posted it)

Randhir Singh Shekhawat, an arrogant, flamboyant and petulant guy who represents the present day youth. He does not believe in love as he feels it is a waste of time. He believes women to be inferior to men and hates his mother and is bitter due to a tragic past. He speaks very little and rarely smiles. Sanyukta Aggarwal, a courageous, compassionate, persistent and gregarious girl who is full of life. She is a vibrant and new-age girl who walks hand in hand with changing time. She is modern but keeps it in accordance with her culture and the traditions instilled in her. She is against the stereotypes and never hesitates to question them. "Why can't just tell me what you feel, because how you act is confusing me." "I hate him because I loved him and he let me down." "I never stopped loving you. Not even for a second, even when I hated you." He loathed her, wanted to destroy her. She wanted to calm the inner demons in him, wanted to bring back the happiness in his life. Once the heart is broken, it never heals to be the same. Once the trust is shaken, it can never be restored to the way it was. His frozen heart could never understand this poor angel's emotions, the deep love it held for him and when he to began to realise it, he had already made the damage to her. Because "It is not in the stars to hold our destiny but in ourselves."

Sanyukta Agarwal- from a conservative family, her father has decided to get her engaged to Sameer Mittal, an arrogant young man who wants to control her life Sameer Mittal - one of the hurdles in Sanyukta's life, he comes from a backwards thinking family, women are beneath men in his family Randhir Singh Shekhawat- one of Vardhan's proteges, he and Sanyukta share a love-hate relationship, later their bond changes but for better or worse only time will tell Katauski and Jiggy will make appearances not sure how much of a role they will play, Vidhushi , Parth and YoYo may also be in this story Concept: Sanyukta feels trapped, she has dreams to become independent and an engineer, she wants to marry someday, but wants the guy to treat her with respect, she decides to take a drastic step, the future is unknown to her but just maybe she has no other choice then to free herself from the bonds that bind her from living her life.
