I went to a movie with some friends. I’d mistakenly predicted a particular twist ending, so at dinner afterward I innocently asked one of my friends whether he had also expected the same ending. Apparently, a man at the next table mistakenly thought I blurted out the end of the movie. (I did not.) On his way out, he grumbled something along the lines of “I hope you know that you ruined the movie for us,” and then he was gone.
