Melodie had come a long way in her relationship. She realizes just how much her trust issues got in the way of her happiness, but it may be a little too late. This is a short I wrote a while ago for a friend. I hope you enjoy!

This is the truth, unfiltered and unapologetic. From stolen belongings and disrespect to threats and chaos, I've been watching, catching every move, and learning hard lessons about loyalty, trust, and the streets. Every moment counts, and every action has consequences. Life doesn't wait, and neither do I. Follow me through raw experiences, personal boundaries, and the reality of survival in a world where respect is earned, not given. This isn't a story made up-it's what I lived, saw, and felt. Brace yourself for honesty, intensity, and lessons you can't ignore.

Just because you're basic, often described as average and firmly rooted in reality doesn't mean you can't have a fairy-tale romance, right? According to Dana, it doesn't. All you have to do is be authentic, proactive and only slightly insane. There's nothing particularly special about her life, but that's not always a bad thing. Dana might be on the edge of settling, but one trip to Europe could change the game completely.

One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven, twelve... It took him twelve seconds before breathing again. If there is any power I want to possess at this moment, it would be the power to heal. The flesh color fluid dripping out from the small tube is slower in every minute. On the other side of the bed, my mother sobs and stares blankly at the wall on her right. Since he was ill, my mother has been working hard to provide for our family. Worst, this could be another heavy burden for her to carry. Everything is coming back to me like flashes of light. The unexplainable feeling that something inevitable will soon happen. The night seems like forever so as the waiting. But if it's forever, let it be, rather than a moment will come that we will lose him.
