The Republic of Mei has always been the greatest nation in all of Austeria, but the peace brought by its unwavering devotion to the pursuit of art and knowledge is faltering. There is a new era on the horizon, and it does not look as bright. Legend tells, however, of a man who can save Mei from war and famine, a man whose power can rival that even of a star. The Man of a Thousand Suns Deep in the mountainous heart of Mei lies the proud and arcane city of Savo, the core of which is the ancient mage guild of the Jade Dragon. Few seem to be noticing the growing political tension on the continent save for a handful of mages at the guild, two of which are Rajkumar Baracharya and Chandra Nimnimwye. As they struggle to master their power and to find their places in the world, the guildmaster sends them away on a quest, one that he says will bring balance to world. But a few days after Raj and Chandra leave, disaster strikes the world, and both of the young mages know that their world will never be the same again.

The ability to use Nith is the one dream of Bryn, any other goals she might have had have been erased by her lost memories, and all she can remember is the sensation of using Nithen'renas. But the road to actually gaining its power is full of pitfalls and diversions that will quickly reveal themselves to have a more then terrifying reason behind them. This book is still in its early 1st rough draft and there will be confusing parts which I will need to work on when I go over it again, with this in mind any feedback is appreciated. I plan on making at least one more chapter per week though there might be more, I hope you enjoy. (also expect changes to already written parts at some points as not everything is set in stone)

*Original Story* *Strategy shōnen with seinen stakes* "Four rookies. One brutal Seeker Exam. A hard magic system that judges actions. What does it take to seek truth in a world built on lies? The gods wrote the laws. The Arcwheel turns, binding every soul to an endless cycle - live, die, repeat. But the wheel is cracking, and something ancient stirs beneath the waves. Kai Xander was meant to be a footnote in history - another nameless orphan swallowed by the ruins of a dead age. But Kai doesn't know how to stop, armed with a flame that heals instead of destroys, hunted by monsters, fanatics, and false gods, he sets out across a shattered world to find the truth buried at its heart. In a realm where knowledge is power and faith is weaponized, one stubborn Seeker will defy fate, question divinity, and light a fire that even the abyss can't swallow. Slow-burn character and system build until the Trial by Mercy-then Ryōiki(domain) duels and war arcs kick off. Seeker's Codex: Beyond the Abyssal Line Copyright © Hazzybae (HennessyTheAuthor), 2025. Long ago, we lived in cities of magic, glass and metal, but that time is long gone. Centuries ago, a cataclysm of untold magnitude ravaged all civilizations. The dust has since settled, yet knowledge has been lost, great works were left in the rubble, robbed of their purpose. Yet life goes on, new religions and government have appeared from the ruins of the old world, now naught but a distant memory to those who still live in its carcass.

Two officers. One impossible war or maybe not. Zero room for error. Erika leads with empathy in a world that rewards cruelty. Lothar commands with ruthless calculus, seeing lives as logistical data. Thrown together into the experimental Stahlfaust battalion, they face a West that has fortified itself not just with steel, but with divine power. As angels shield their fortresses, Erika seeks a way to save her soldiers' souls. Lothar seeks a way to delete the divine itself. Forget chosen ones and ancient prophecies. This is grim, tactical warfare where the only magic that matters is the will to impose your own reality upon a broken world. The ultimate weapon isn't a sword-it's a perfectly reasoned argument for annihilation. A grimdark epic where the only victory is survival. This story rejects the romantic adventure of war, revealing it instead as a logical, soul-crushing machine. Valor comes paired with profound loss, and in the end, outlasting the horror is the sole triumph that matters.

It happened to Alex like all Dreamers. The last thing they can recall is laying in a bed. Now they have awoken in the middle of a road. Venturing down from atop the hill into a vacant port town, they are soon ensnared in the machinations of otherworldly beings. It's okay though, the company parties are fun and the dress code is lax. The paperwork however, well, that can drive anyone mad.

In the Northmost Peninsula, the New Cities are recovering from centuries of invasion and occupation. The Rightmakers' Lodge enforce the Starlit Order, so that they might rebuild the astrological culture lost during the occupation. In their quest to restore this culture, they invoke celestial magic that grows stronger and weaker as the constellations move across the sky, and speak in the old mannerisms of their slaughtered ancestors. It is a time of change, recovery, and uncertainty. So when the great city of Winhurst West is consumed by a devastating coup, and the Rightmakers' leader, the Justicar, refuses to intervene, the cultural recovery is endangered. The city's hastily-assembled new leadership has to grapple with the approaching Rightmakers, throwing their whole legitimacy into question. A story told from many different perspectives, this is a struggle for both celestial and political power. Above these insignificant matters of mortals, the stars gleam brighter than ever.
