Audrey Russell Hargrove just moved to Hawkins, Indiana from the sunny state of California. With a hot headed older brother and a step-sister who won't give her a second glance, Russell wasn't quite sure where she fit in with her family. She spent most of her time lost in her own world while reading or drawing to be too bothered by it though. When she finds herself befriending the 'Queen of Hawkins High' and her group of it-kids, it's quite strange for the girl, for all she wants is to not make a fool of herself at this new school. What goes down after only a few days of her being in the town is almost scary to think about.
