The exciting new dating show "Killer Love" is finally coming to screens all across America after months of advertising. The twenty-five girls who have been chosen to participate, in hopes for finding true love with the lucky man, have been waiting to impress with their beauty, style, and intelligence. Harlan Crest has been waiting a lifetime for this opportunity and he definitely isn't letting it slip through his fingers now. He can't wait to meet the girls and capture audiences across the nation. Everyone loves a humble and attractive man right? He's been looking for his perfect girl for years and this time he may just find her, but is there something more sinister lurking in the shadows of this television production?

Four months ago, when Valerie and her little brother Lance were home alone, her house caught on fire. She managed to save her brother, but didn't get away without some big burning wounds covering one side of her body. Insecure about these scars, she closes herself off from everyone, including her best friends and even her boyfriend. But then her father convinces her to go to a talking group for traumatized teenagers, where she meets Harlan, who is blind. Harlan can't see her scars, and he understands how she feels. She feels more comfortable with him than she has with anyone for a long time. But what about her boyfriend, Finn? Different summary in chapter one!

Erik McBride has just started working with a woman that he doesn't get along with. But he needs the money to support his family back in Georgia. His job hangs in the balance already, and rustlers try to make things harder on everyone still. Push comes to shove and Erik can't believe what he's done when he accept the job of being the Boss Lady's Man. He annoys her. She confuses him. What could possibly go wrong?
