This is a rewrite of how a revolution took place to enforce the idealistic theory of there being no one more imperfect or perfect than one another. A utopia where even love cannot stop the regression of a revolution. It's a W/W story! Enjoy! ( I once wrote a fanfiction of this story but recently I discovered a new spin I wanted to write! This was a school assignment recently, and it's just a short story, but I hope you guys like it. If you do comment me an idea and I will see what story I can come up with for it. - (This is loosely based on the short story "Harrison Bergeron") Nora Gabel is hoping for more out of her life. She longs to see what life was before the handicaps, when everyone was unique. What she wasn't expecting was to get dragged into a warehouse by Reese and Nea Knowles and everything she thought she knew about her life and everything around her is turned upside down.

Based off of the short story Harrison Bergeron, in this AU the unexpected is the expected. Since no one can be perfect every one is the same. They have radios in one ear to make them dumber, weights on their arms to make them weaker, masks on their faces to make them uglier. And Marinette can't stand it any longer. In this alternate miraculous universe, Marinette has scoliosis, a genetic deformity in the spine. It's what helps make her equal, though she still has to wear weights, and a hideous mask. All seems for lost until a new boy comes to school. He has the ugliest mask, and the largest weights, Marinette has ever seen. And a tiny radio in his ear to make him dumb. And she falls head over heals for him. Together, can they stop the government from their wrong doing? Will love force them to take off the masks? Is ballet going to make a change for their lives? "Jesse" The voice said quietly, "Jesse wake up" I slowly opened my eyes to the sound of his voice. It was Maje. "Jesse where are we?" He looked petrified. "Ethan, Yuro, the dungeon, now were here" "Quiet" I growled. "Someones coming". When high school bully Jesse Wicks was invited to the mansion of secretive podcast host Ethan Kayne to help host the podcast, he gets more than he bargained for. Soon, Jesse and Ethan's younger brother Maje are sucked into an adventure that they might never get out of.

Harrison Bergeron, a feared and wanted criminal throughout his nation has escaped prison. His beliefs are quite different from this disutopian society that believes equality in every which way. A nice thought isnt it? Well this society isnt so nice and takes the 'Equality in every which way' on a whole other level. Anyone above or below average are handicapped and labeled as 'disabled' as its known that average is the new 'perfect'. Harrison, who is labeled as disabled due to his above average intellegence and strength rebels and plans to over throw his government to break the chains that they have created for his nation. One night at a bellet recital starred by handicapped ballet dancers, have been crashed by this criminal in order to spark his plan into action but along the way meets a ballerina that has claimed him as hers and hers alone. Will this ballerina tame this rebel and persuade him to live as everyone else or will she fight along side her mate in this erupting civil war? Read in the perspective of this ballerina to find out your answer...

I watched both of Harrison's and the lady who held the talent to dance fall to the ground. My body trembled in fear seeing what event just took place. How could she, The handicapper general do such a thing and so those at home to see it... The crowd stood still and a idea of how the world... No the people could start a revolution that could change everything...

This is a poem about a not so utopian society. It's kind of like "The Giver" but different in it's own way. This poem has parts from "The Giver" "2BR02B" "Harrison Bergeron" "Random Number" "Bible" and my own creations. The first part is all about what dystopian societies are. They are examples. And at the end there is a warning how we could become something like a dystopian society.

In Curt Vonnegut's Harrison story, Harrison breaks free of his handicaps and is willing to die for equity and freedom. Why is that? I will create possible motives and backstories for the characters in this short story. This is based on my interpretation of the book during the deep dive I did studying this, not rock solid confirmed plot. Enjoy!
