When a baby is born, it does not think about the future. It simply enjoys the warmth of a hug, the sound of familiar voices, and the comfort of being safe. Every day it learns something new without even trying-how to move, how to speak, how to understand the world around it.
But as we grow older, we forget that simple way of learning. We begin to worry about the future, about what we must become and what others expect from us. Yet learning was never meant to be rushed. It was always meant to happen slowly, step by step, just like when we were children discovering the world for the first time.
Sometimes, when I watch Lily playing outside, laughing without a care in the world, I wonder if children like us-before magic, before Hogwarts, before everything changes-are the only ones who truly understand how to live in the moment.
