I think that the Beatles came into their own, really became the Beatles, when they performed at the Litherland Town Hall in December 1960, right after their first stint in Hamburg. Before it, they were nothing, just one of many bands in Liverpool. After it, everyone wanted to know. this is a bit of a story about that.

One year from the point of view of Pattie. The title is the phrase coined by Queen Elizabeth II after a particularly awful year for her. This fic isn't to suggest that this was Pattie's worst year; just a difficult one.

George and Pattie had only known each other for a matter of weeks, but both decided that it was time to meet the parents. This may have been how it went.
