On that fateful night in October 1981 Regulus Black saves James Potter, but wasn't fast enough to save Lily too. After James gets over the shock of seeing his assumed dead ex-boyfriend he buried Lily, then with the promise that Regulus will explain everything later, they grab Harry and run to a Black family home in France. It's there that they live and raise Harry in secret under the fidelius charm where Regulus himself is the secret keeper. The entire world thinks that they are dead, the only people who know the truth are none other than the Malfoys. When it's time for Harry to go to Hogwarts the wizarding world is shocked to see the boy alive, but even more so when The Boy Who Lived is sorted into Slytherin.

The summer before second year, Harry Potter is starving. For food, yes, but also for answers, for safety, for something like family. A warning from a house-elf throws his world off-balance, and a quiet gift at Christmas may change it forever. Draco Malfoy has always known where his loyalties lie. But when his father starts whispering about the Dark Lord again, and Harry Potter's eyes look too tired for a twelve-year-old, things start to shift. Especially when Draco realises he's not as good at hating Harry as he used to be. ((A rewrite of Chamber of Secrets with found family themes, soft Weasleys, a conflicted Draco, and a Harry who's learning what it means to be wanted. Slow burn. Slow healing. Just some ideas about the rewrite that I'm working on. This is in no particular order.

We've all heard Harry's story. But what about Hermione's story? How did she feel about what happened? This is the first Harry Potter book, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, rewritten from the point of view of Hermione. All characters, most story events and plot, and some parts of the story all belong to J. K. Rowling. I own only what I write about how Hermione felt and events that happened when Harry wasn't there.

This follows the story of Pureblood twins that are from a purely Slytherin family, a muggleborn boy whose family is not happy with anything but tradition, a half-blood girl who isn't sure she is a girl, and, of course, Harry Potter. Sirius and Remus raise Harry and are a couple. In this AU, Sirius got to Harry before Hagrid and therefore, Dumbledore had no choice but to let him raise Harry. Anything I don't meantion hasn't changed. All characters but my own belong to there rightful owners.

James and Lily Potter welcomed twins into their family on the 31st of July in 1980, twins who were rather unique and different from one another in a very noticeable way. Their names were Lyla Jamison Potter and Arabella Lillian Potter. The two sisters were like night and day, clashing with one another in all kinds of ways, always returning to one another in the end. During a dark Halloween night however, the family's lives change forever when the most feared and dark wizard, Lord Voldemort, came by the Potter home, destroying the house and attempting to kill the Potter twins upon hearing a strange prophecy, one that spoke of one who had the power to end his rule of fear. After the incident of both Potter parents falling victim to a flash of bright light however, the curse that had ended so many witches and wizards life's seemed to harmlessly bounce of the twins as they watched, reducing Lord Voldemort to nothing more then a powerless, feeble creature. This leads the girls to live with relatives, ones who are questionable in the decisions they make. Are they kind to their nieces? Or do they treat them like nothing?

In their first year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, Genevieve Rosier, Marlene Williams, Violette Gwynn, and Rosalie Selwyn discover the gravity of friendship as they learn of the magic and truths of the wizarding world. From family reputations and class pressure, to new blooming friendships, each of these young girls find themselves challenged within their first year at Hogwarts.
