"We open this tale in the small island of Galma, which lies of the east of the ruins of castle Cair Paravel (It is autumn here). A young wizard, by the name of Ciliandra (nicknamed Cilia, or Cici), is testing her newfound spells on her phoenix Emberstar. Her friends Joshua (nicknamed Josh) and Analydia (nicknamed Ana) are learning from her. Even though Cilia is only 13, 14-year-old Joshua and 13-year-old Analydia are new to the use of wands and spells.
