The story of Thusia Grey, is not one of despair or tragedy, instead it is one of love and acceptance. In Thusia's life there was not one day where she lacked the feeling of love and friendship. She was not hated and she was not disliked or picked on in school. She wasn't popular and she wasn't exiled, she was just Thusia.
Thusia Grey is not your typical Canadian girl. She does not forgive easily nor does she apologize frequently. In fact, she does not even like Timmy's. She was very vibrant and outgoing. That was until Thusia sacrificed herself.
That was the day everything changed. The day Thusia died and acquired the gift of a Sari.
Sari's are defined as selfless people with pure hearts. These people sacrifice themselves for random citizens in a time of imminent danger that could cost them their lives. Sari's only acquire this power by sacrificing themselves, and after that, they are forever bound to the earth. To save others. To live, sacrifice, die and repeat.
Now, 7 years later, Thusia is now 18, has mastered her "gift" and is tired of the same old scenery seeing the same old types of sacrifice. She decides to move away from the Canadian landscape, and more towards a warm Mediterranean view. One of incredible history and beautiful scenery, Greece.
Let's follow Thusia to see what this new move to another country and continent will give her. What sacrifices will she have to make on the way and how will she deal with all the circumstances that she is about to face during these sacrifices.
While in the middle of all these changes, what will happen when Thusia is faced with one more hurdle, what happens when a boy is thrown into the mix?
Will Thusia come out wiser and happier, or will she fail the test of life?
