At the age of only 14, Y/N quickly left her old home and moved in with a couple friends in an abandoned shed. They gained money by pick-pocketing and stealing from small jewelry shops. Which is where she met her pal, Grayson. After all turning 16, they started taking stealing seriously, breaking in houses and stealing, going into grocery shops and taking everything they can fit into a cart and run out with it, even stealing cars. Before I could even reach the sidewalk I felt an strong hand grab my arm, Zavin turned me towards him, lifting my chin, forcing me to look him in the eyes. "Please Emerson, I love you" his voice cracked even more now, every word making my heart break a little more. "And I hate you Zavin" I said looking him dead in the eyes. "I hate you for making me love you" I said starting to cry again, uncontrollably now. I felt his hand go limp and I took it as a chance to run, I took off. All I could hear was the sound of my old shoes against the concrete of the cracked sidewalk, and the sound of my salty tears hitting the hard ground.
