joby Harte has been involved in the music industry in some manner since the age of 14, when he started Hospital Radio in the United Kingdom. He went on to serve as an assistant head of music for FM stations around the country before becoming the head of music for GWR's digital pop station, CORE, in the UK. Joby Harte moved into television, working on shows such as Top of the Pops and CD:UK, and was instrumental in the development of ITV's Pop Idol (American Idol), then under the Freemantle banner, as well as launching the UK format of MTV's hit American show, TRL. He relocated to Los Angeles in 2008 to work with Nickelodeon on the premiere of the music show, Dance on Sunset. There are numerous shows.
