During the pandemic, Hartley tries to help. He tries to keep going and do whatever he can, from a distance. Everything is going as well as can be expected, until his world comes crashing down with one phone call from Caitlin Snow. Warnings: Covid-19 related, near death experiences, Cisco whump, heavy angst (but with happy ending).

Robin Rathaway would like to point out one thing: Alien invasions SUCK. Like all caps SUCK. Because they do. And the worst thing is, she's supposed to be the one dealing with it. Well, not her exclusively. The rest of her team was also involved, in fact, half of them were helping her evacuate the city. Because aliens. *I do not own the Arrowverse in any shape or form. **However, I do own the plot (this entire one-shot) and my original characters (like Robin), which means that you can't plagiarize this work. ***This will start out as a one-shot and if I write more, I may add on. Everything starts to go wrong the day Cisco Ramon enters his life, or so he thinks at the time (things go wrong before that, Hartley later realizes - much much later once he has a more level-headed perspective on events). Things also get a lot more complicated and that doesn't ever stop being the case. The story (work in progress) of how everything left in Hartley's life crumbles around him and how he builds it up again, in two very different ways.

When her long time best friend, Liz, cons her into going to a frat-boy New Years Eve party Finn is pretty much the death of the party, but that all changes when she meets Barry Allen. Her boring life will all change when there is a flying get-away car and a lack of oxygen.

Team Flash is busy saving Central City from metahumans when suddenly an old friend turns up: Hartley Rathaway, or the Pied Piper. The sonic waves he is capable of emitting get into everyone's head, but what turns Cisco's thoughts upside down isn't only sound waves...
