Airi Kirishima is a girl with many talents. Some might say she's God's favorite because she's beautiful, blessed with talents, and intelligent. She was apart of Iwatobi SC in elementary and found herself becoming best friends with Rin. However Rin decides to move to Australia leaving her all alone. She attends Iwatobi middle school for a year until she decides to move to America. When she decides to move back to Iwatobi for high-school, she finds out that Rin has come back from Australia. She notices that he isn't the same Rin as she remembers. Can she help him go back to his old self and bond by love?

Nanase Haruka is a merman. He is antisocial, and stays to the outskirts on his underwater city. He only spends time with his friend Matsuoka Rin, and Rin's sister Gou. Everything about their lives is so different from the other. But they both love to swim.

Haru's notorious for first wins, by a landslide, until Rin blows that out of the water.
