The Matsuoka twins have lived and breathed swimming from a young age, considered prodigies nothing could stop the duo; the only difference between them is that Ema has talent whereas Rin has ambition. Once Rin leaves Japan for Australia at the start of middle school, that would be the final sever in their 'twin bond' that has now been broken forever. Fast forward four years and Ema is now a second year high school student who no longer swims, when her brother comes back into her life and challenges her, she bands together her childhood friends, Haruka, Makoto and Nagisa and newcomer Rei to figure out what is to really swim free...
