Haruka Nanase was the Prince of the Kingdom of Atlanta, who was to turn 18 in the next 5 days. He were never the one for parties, as there would be a huge celebration for his Birthday anniversary. The worst part? He had to be married by sunset, or else his Uncle would become King. But he really didn't mind. All he wanted was to be free, to sail the seven seas, and to life a happy life away from the heavy burdens he inheirited, and have a family. You were just an ordinary mermaid, searching sunken ships and dark caves for treasure as a living. But as you progressed on, you had surfaced to the beach, out of curiosity, and instantly fell in love with the way and lifestyle of the humans. It was forbidden for mermaids to go to the surface, and your gut is telling you to turn back, and swim as far away as possible, yet, there was something that has drawn you in. As you were watching, you see a ship, and went to investigate. As fate would have it, a dashing prince was aboard, calm and cool face contorted into a small smile as he watched his friends and family dance. You didn't know what hit you. Was is magic? Had a fish with wings and a lust oyster hurl a love pearl at you? You sure hoped not. Because if you weren't allowed to go to the surface, what's more that you fell in love with the very species that had caused the death of your beloved mother? And also, you would be in huge trouble with King Neptune. Like, eternal suffering at the bottom of the ocean, never to be allowed to see the light of day again. Re-telling of Disney's "The Little Mermaid."
