When his mother Lisa retired, he took over as CEO of Watanabe's company. However, a failed relationship with Luna, who cheated on him, broke his belief in love. Dr. Kim Junkyu had no choice but to marry Watanabe Haruto to secure their futures. Neither of them wanted this marriage, and Haruto's father was furious when he found out Junkyu came from a middle-class family. Still, they were forced to live together. Junkyu, haunted by his past with Jihoon, feared Haruto would treat him just as cruelly. On the other hand, Haruto remained unbothered, not caring about Junkyu's presence.
