It's a neverending game of pretend. Sometimes, you don't even realize you're playing until it's too late. - Fortune - Nya Smith had a plan for her future: graduate high school with a 3.8 GPA, apply for a college scholarship to get a doctorate in engineering, and pull herself out of the lower class. All of that is thrown out the window when she's brought to the Garmadon Estate- the mansion formerly inhabited by the family it was named after. The same family that disappeared until only Wu Garmadon was left. The old man had no relations. Not a single living friend to leave his fortune to. Nya has to figure out why Wu left 5 seemingly random teenagers the rest of the Garmadon fortune before he disappeared like the rest of his family. None of the other four people in the will have any relation to the Garmadon lineage: Jay Walker's a junkyard boy with way too much energy and electrifying blue eyes, Cole Brookestone's a runaway who shudders at the mention of dancing and has a strange addiction to cake (somehow he's jacked), Zane Julien's extremely intelligent but has no recollection of who he was before Wu found him, and Kai Smith is her own hotheaded brother. With these four, will she be able to find out why they were chosen? Or are they just victims of whatever caused the Garmadon a to disappear? Nya isn't the only one who wants answers. Harumi Jade, a white haired beauty who's both rich and powerful, is already halfway to the answer. All she needs is someone with inside information- and Nya Smith is perfect for the job. But the answers discovered only lead to more questions. What happened to the Garmadons?

She makes enemies, friends, and causes chaos while she and her newfound ally Morro try to escape the ghostly landscapes. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ There might be a book 2 if this stays as my main fandom for long enough. It had been years since the 3 ninjas had been trapped in the temple. Jay on the other hand has not been found. Lloyd is still in a coma. Alstrianda had taken over the entire realm and was ruling as queen along with her husband the king. Unlike the previous time, the realm was not covered by darkness but the Oni's lived richly while the humans live in middle class or poverty. Only some of the previous Villans were living in riches. Harumi Nya Skylor and Pixal had taken over the roles of the ninja, they have been planning to take Ninjago back for the past few years. Will Lloyd wake up? NOTES : This is set during crystallised, during the fight with the overlord, but with a twist!! After defeating The Overlord, Lloyd runs away. Where to is unknown, yet Harumi is dragged along with him. Conflicted with his thoughts and feelings about his oni form, he escapes to avoid judgement of the other ninja. What would they say after seeing him like this? --- An AU where Lloyd gets stuck in his oni form, slowly embracing the new side of him. Although he wishes to remain the green ninja, he refuses to ask his father for help with his oni form.
