Lloyd tells himself to listen to the logical voice inside him-the one reminding him that trusting Harumi would only end in betrayal. Neither of them is being entirely honest. Because when Lloyd's carefully controlled world begins to unravel, Harumi becomes the one person who sees something is wrong. And when the darkness inside Lloyd finally starts to surface, he may have no choice but to trust the one person he once thought he had lost forever. Two people haunted by the past. One secret that could change everything. And perhaps the most dangerous thing isn't what Lloyd is becoming... Harumi knew that she loved Lloyd, even up until the building collapsed. She knew that she had hurt him and regretted all the pain she inflicted on him. It seemed only fitting that she should die the death caused by the destruction of the city that she played a part in. A crack of lightning lit the sky, purple light dancing across the smog clouds while thunder raced to catch up. As thunder boomed, a crack streaked across the sky, and a hole opened. Harumi arrived, following the soft purple light guiding her, and almost couldn't breath seeing the hole. It was lined with purple, a glance into a different world, just like before. Unlike before, nothing started floating, unlike before, something came out. To celebrate 15th Anniversary of Ninjago series...here's a short AU story set in the world of Masters Of Spinjitzu. This is short story is about...what if Harumi survived her fall in Season 9: Hunted and got arrested? Lloyd visits her in high security cell in Kryptarium Prison to finally face his trauma with her head on and get some sort of closure with her. This story takes place after Season 9: Hunted and Season 10: March Of The Oni. Rated: PG Disclaimers/Possible Triggers: mention of death, mention of toxic relationship, implying gaslighting.
