The mastermind started getting sick of waiting for another murder. the viewers were plummeting and Monokuma had no idea what to do except to try and scare the students into killing eachother. There was also a new threat, Kokichi Oma. He has started figuring who the mastermind really is, so she needed to stop him, fast. The mastermind couldn't figure out what to do so she decided to try & figure out a new motive, & that's when she discovered.... Irumas inventions.... Using this to her advantage, she grabbed Monokumas attention & created a new motive, the invention motive! One of my first times writing fanfiction, sorry if bad :[ Trigger warnings: 1. Swearing 2. Basically this is a Danganronpa Adult AU, where they all grew up and are now adults. Junko eventually learned that maybe hope isn't so bad, and Izuru and Hajime can separate. The killing game still took place however, but Junko and Izuru figured out a way to bring all of the dead ones back. If they died they have low pain tolerance mainly in the spot they died from. Ex. Wound to the head, has low tolerance there. Everyone is a member of Kokichi's organization, and Fuyuhiko agreed to merge their groups. Everyone has a job of some kind, some have very little to do with their talents, but idc, and also S P O I L E R S for ALL 3 MAIN DANGANRONPA GAMES AND UDG. Ships will be in tags. (Various settings, first two chapters are during the killing game, rest are afterwards, kind of a budding relationship thing) One night at training, after Shuichi goes back to his dorm, Kaito promises Maki a trip to the moon after they escape. Maki isn't too sure that it's possible, but Kaito will not be swayed. He is determined that he will take Maki to the moon, no matter what it takes. At the trial, Maki was in denial. Kaito killed Kokichi...to protect her? Before his execution, he turns to her and gives her his jacket. The next few words out of his mouth are sincere: "I love you, Maki. Go to the moon for me, okay? " "...Okay. I love you too...Kaito Momota..." He dies. Two years later, Maki is still on Earth. She never took off Kaito's jacket, even to sleep. Despite how impossible it seems, she clings to the hope that Kaito is still out there somewhere, looking for her too. She is taking a walk when she meets two complete strangers, whose words are something Maki never thought she would hear: " They're alive. All of them." Inspired by a comic I read the other day.
