Rin and Obito after all these years were finally going to be happily ever with a baby on the way after until disaster struck. Obito was crushed by a boulder trying to save his teammate Kakashi Hatake. This devastated them and it didn't help that a couple months after that, the baby was born, and Rin was Chidori'd by Kakashi to save the village. This works with the idea of Sasuke not picking the path of revenge when Kakashi talks to him and being more open to interacting with people and being himself, or the self he was before the massacre.

This was written for SasuSaku Month 2021 for the prompt Past Years which worked with me wanting to write a story where Itachi lives and brings Sarada a kitten because of that one filler from the Anime, but in this the Uchiha clan not only lives, Sasuke never goes down the path of revenge. Sasuke tries looking to the future, a future not seeking revenge, only for memories from the past he'd pushed aside to resurface leading to a rather embarrassing situation and an awkward realization on his part. Disclaimer - I don't own Naruto. This was written for the third prompt for SasuSaku Month 2021 - nighttime, but the idea that popped into my head was that nobody noticed anything was wrong when Sasuke's family died. The story diverges from canon in that someone did find him and cared for him despite him not remembering, but also because Sasuke decides to listen to Kakashi in regards to revenge. (7/4 on AO3)

The truth was loud and clear, that the combination of pink and green wasn't meant to be with black and blue - both professionally and realistically. --- This fic was inspired by the Filipino celebrity pair/loveteam called "AlDub" (based from their screen names: Alden & Yaya Dub) or "MaiChard" (their real names: Maine Mendoza & Richard Faulkerson, Jr.). The plot and content have nothing to do with the said actors, but I based the idea for this fic from the themes of Maine's two most controversial blog posts.
