Taking place in modern-day Tokyo, the story follows a high school student Ren Amamiyia known by the codename Joker who transfers to a new school after he is framed for assault and put on probation. Over the course of a school year, he and other students awaken to a special power, becoming a group of secret vigilantes known as the Phantom Thieves of Hearts. They explore the Metaverse, a supernatural realm born from humanity's subconscious desires, to steal malevolent intent from the hearts of adults and change their hearts.

Filled with determination to find out about the mental shutdown incidents, Nolan Works with the Phantom Thieves to uncover the mystery behind the mental shutdowns and the evil that's causing it. Disclaimer: I don't claim ownership for Persona 5, Nolan Woods is my own character. However, I will add specific enemies for Nolan to fight against throughout the story to make things interesting. The second I saw it, I wanted to make a AU about it, all I could think of for a concept was that Joker's attire changed when he first summoned Satanael, and the change had passed on to Arséne as well. Ren's return from juvenile hall finally gave the Thieves the chance they had to talk about why Mementos still exists, despite Yaldabaoth's fall. When they return to investigate, Ren is acting more and more brash and reckless, and Makoto worries it may have something to do with Arsene and Satanael's odd lack of a 3rd tier evolution. Or they thought it was a lack. When the Reaper ambushes them, it turns out that it was about to meet its match. And it was as dangerous as it was suave. It's name? Raoul. - Vanilla P5, with the 3rd Tier Personas from Royal. Slight canon divergence, because the Metaverse stays around after Yaldabaoth's fall, with mention of other palaces as well, and Joker wields twin knives, not just one. Gameplay divergence because the Reaper is an ACTUAL THREAT (like in Striker's, god the Reaper is tough in Striker's) Shumako, Other changes to the lore, like Haru works with Ren in Leblanc, Sojiro adopted Ren, Persona's can communicate with their User's in the real world, and a few other little tweaks and stuff. Pretty much as the title says. The story of Persona 5 with Reader and OC insert. Might add love interests with the two. OC is female, reader is male. Also, the P3 and P4 protagonists are in the story with the names Yu Narukami and Minato Arisato respectively. Yu is Rin's dad and Minato is Rin's love interest.
