Nihayet o beklenen gece gelip çattığında, gökyüzünün en derin kuytularından yükselen o ilk kanlı uluma, sadece bir mevsimin bitişi değil; gümüş zincirlerin parçalandığı, safkan yeminlerinin yerle bir olduğu ve avcı ile av arasındaki o ince çizginin sonsuza dek silindiği bir şafağın müjdecisiydi; artık ne o karanlık zindanlar ne de babasının demir pençesi bizi tutabilirdi, çünkü dolunayın altında kanla yazılan bu tarih, artık "iyileşme" masallarını değil, sürümüzün o sarsılmaz ve en aşık gerçeğini haykırıyordu.
