Historias de Hatching

This story is part of my short story collection. Every month me and my friends take turns to come up with a prompt to a story. Some are very short, some a bit longer and some I might turn into a larger story later if I ever find the time for it. This was my entry of September 2025. A kid alone in the woods and a dragon that's not sure what to make of him.

A take on fgod and gaster blasters. Involves dragons!

Surrounding Pyyrhia,the land of dragons,is a vast ocean.No dragons are said to live beyond the mainland.But imagine a place,a ring of islands,far out to sea.Imagine that it is in fact inhabited by not dragons,but their two-legged cousins the wyverns. Now imagine two fugitive wyvern parents,running from their certain death by way of assassin.They are bearing four eggs that they must hide before they're found.They tuck the eggs under the safety of the gentle waves on the beach,knowing that when they hatch,they will be safe there. When they hatch,the wyverns find themselves growing up in the middle of something bigger than they could have ever imagined.This is their story.

*Updates not regular due to school and work* #29 in Dragonriders (5/30/18) A set of four friends messing around on a walk through the woods, find an old dusty cave, surrounded by ancient magic that has long been forgotten. inside lies the last 4 eggs of the great dragons, where they hatch for the humans. Dragons have returned to this world, but with it, an evil as old as dragons themselves awakens to rise again.

Toothless and his rider hiccup were looking for the night furys when out of no where a cry of pain was heared on an island knowing what it was toothless start to bolt in the direction.

We're dragons... Yeah.

NEW EDITS (I wrote this a while ago, but I fixed up the writing so it's easier to read!) A boy stumbles his way into a dragon's cave, and instead of being eaten alive by the creature no one was sure existed, he ends up being raised by the beast as a dragon son. When tragedy strikes, the boy must learn to survive, though he is not alone. Find out about adventures and survival in a dangerous world and how a connection between unlikely friends can mean the difference between life, and failure.

Owl unexpectedly becomes a dad to a newly hatched nightmaren who he soon calls nights

The hatching of a dragon, told from the dragon's point of view. I wrote this as an experiment years ago, inspired by the opening of Disney's Dinosaur.

A dragon hatches and must confront the bright and cold reality of the world outside his shell. Told from an extremely limited first person perspective, he will find many harsh truths that are endemic to life, but there are also sweeter joys than he could ever conceive of from within his shell. I'm trying to publish this on Royal Road too! It will appear under my RR profile, which is also named Otalek!

A Story of a family of dragons.

A young Viking with the name of Nova, is forced to run from her village when dragons attack. After five years of living by herself, she realised not all dragons are evil. The dragon that taught her this, soon became her only friend. Will the child and her dragon live the rest of their lives alone? Or will they become accepted into a village once again? ------------- This story is based off of @Whiplash426 story 'Take Flight on a Dragon' I recommend reading her book first, but you do not need to to understand this one. ------------- Fanfiction of How To Train Your Dragon, I do not own most of these characters (sadly) Don't know how often this will be updated yet. ------------- (cover picture isn't mine)

This is the true story of the little California Valley Quail that made its way into my life July of 2018. Having hatched alone after its family had left, this little one has imprinted on humans. I have started writing about the amazing experience of raising this orphan critter.
