Back on the grid, she's got fanged hunters after the bloody reward on her hatted head. As her journey continues, so do her infinite struggles of twists and revealed truths of her past. Will fate ever grant her peace? Maybe give her someone special to lean on? Fighting time and space will never cease to be a challenge now but she's always been a tenacious single soul; so follow her treacherous adventure by her diary... thief. Highly recommended that you read the story Hollow Time before this one as that one takes place before but I suppose it's not entirely necessary. It's up to you. Hat Kid gets kicked out of her spaceship thanks to some weird man that punched a hole in her window. Great. But as she was re-collecting Time Pieces she had lost earlier, she meets her demise before she could re-wind time to save herself. After becoming a Dweller and somehow making it to Subcon Forest, she had been turned into Shadow Puppet, thanks to The Snatcher. After a few days, Bow Kid finds out that Hat Kid has been missing for a few days. Bow Kid takes on the role of collecting the Time Pieces, while looking for her friend. When they meet in Subcon Forest, will Bow Kid get her friend back? Or is Hat Kid destined to stay under Snatcher's command... forever?

As she stared down at the viscous red liquid in her hand, spotted with what she assumed was purple spores from the flowers, she realized just how toxic these flowers were.

What should have been an easy Time Piece grab in Subcon Forest goes wrong, and Hat Kid finds herself back hundreds of years. The forest is bright and happy, the Queen is paying a visit, and the Prince of the land is about to make a very terrible decision. You're not really supposed to meddle with the past, but it might be worth it, just this once.
