"Mira, don't open it." Maya said. Mira looked at her sister. "Why?" Maya grabbed her hand. "Because that isn't a door." Mira frowned. "Then what is it?" Maya looked toward the bedroom door. Her voice dropped to a whisper. "It's a memory." The knocking stopped. For a few seconds, nothing happened. Then-a photograph slid underneath the door. Mira picked it up.It showed four children standing in front of an old mansion. Mira. Maya. Arjun. And a boy Mira didn't recognize. But the boy was holding her hand. On the back of the photograph were five words: "You forgot him first." Mira looked at Maya. "Who is he?" Maya's eyes filled with fear. She whispered: "Don't ask." But Mira already knew something was wrong. Because the boy in the photograph was wearing the same blue bracelet she was wearing.And from somewhere deep inside the house-a door knocked back. Knock.
